Envytech Acquires REWALBI

Sortera Strengthens Its Position in Water Treatment

Press release

Sortera, through its Water Treatment business area and under the Envytech brand, holds a leading position in water treatment in Sweden and Northern Europe, with unique expertise, particularly in the remediation of PFAS-contaminated water. The acquisition of REWALBI is a strong complement to Sortera, as REWALBI has an established position in western Sweden within both mobile and permanent water treatment equipment.
With the acquisition of REWALBI, Sortera is building a solid foundation for further growth, both nationally and internationally.

The acquisition of REWALBI is an important milestone for Sortera and another building block in our strategy to strengthen and expand our offering in water treatment. REWALBI has shown impressive growth and has quickly established itself as a leading player in mobile water treatment. With our combined expertise, we will be able to offer our customers even more efficient and sustainable solutions to meet their increasing demands for contaminated water treatment," says Sebastian Wessman, CEO of Sortera.

"We are excited to become part of Sortera and look forward to combining our strengths to drive innovation in water treatment. Becoming part of Sortera provides us with a stronger platform for continued growth and the opportunity to reach even more customers with our services. We are confident that this will strengthen our market position and enable us to offer even more advanced solutions," says Nicklas Lokander, CEO and co-founder of REWALBI.

The acquisition of REWALBI marks Sortera’s 21st acquisition since its founding in 2006. REWALBI has 14 employees and generates an annual revenue of approximately 50 million SEK. With this acquisition, Sortera's total revenue increases to 3.2 billion SEK. REWALBI has been part of Sortera since February 1, 2024.
