Dewatering of dredging sludge, treatment of reject water, Södertälje
And so it begins. Envytech are super proud to have been awarded the treatment works for treating reject water from dredging materials from the Södertälje harbour. Installation works are just about done, and we are ready and set for action.
Treatment set up is mixer, flow proportional adding of flocculation and precipitation chemicals, pH adjustment by CO2, lamella separator, sed. container and geo tubes for dewatering of reject lamella sludge. Chemicals in different combinations and concentrations has been trialed, and as can be seen from an earlier post. We are home baby!
This combination will be used to treat particle heavy water by entering into a two step mixer with automated injection of chemicals and CO2, and particles are then left to settle in lamella separators, collection of the sludge is carried out in the bottom cone of the separator. Sludge are then pumped into geo tubes for final dewatering.
To be handed such a complex challenge as this is, solely based on our reputation for offering high quality water treatment plants with full service agreements, thick icing on the cake. Including the figures on top 🎂👫.
